A self-shot story of unexpected pathos that unfolds over five days when two young men chase their life’s dream: scaling a mile-high wall of polished granite in North America’s Yosemite National Park – an extraordinary achievement which they recorded in over 60 hours of DV footage. My role as a filmmaker was to pick out the human element that would make this unique adventure make sense for audiences who cared little about climbing.
